How to differentiate between mobile and tablet clock-ins?


Shyfter offers two main clock-in methods: via a tablet app and a mobile app. Here’s how to distinguish them.


1. Report Menu (Service Checks)


In the Report menu, go to the Service Checks submenu. Here, you’ll see icons indicating whether the check-in and check-out were done via the mobile or tablet app. Hovering over the icons displays this information as well. It is instantly visible in the clock-in details.



By clicking on a clock-in entry (blue or red row) to access the edit page, the app icons appear in the top left, allowing you to quickly verify the source of the clock-in.



2. Clock-in Menu


The Clock-in menu also displays this information. You will find the same visual cues as in the Report menu, making clock-in management easier.
