Want to customize a contract template to fit your company’s needs? Follow these simple steps to edit an existing template directly from your dashboard. This article will guide you through the process step by step.



✅ Steps to edit a contract template


Go to the "Documents" menu



Log in to your client area, then go to the side or top menu and click on "Documents".



Click on "Contract Templates"


In the "Documents" section, select "Contract templates" to display the list of existing templates.


Choose the template you want to edit


Search for the template you want to edit, then click on "Edit Template" (or the pencil icon ✏️, depending on your interface).


Make your changes


The template opens in an editor. You can:

  • Adjust the wording of polite phrases
  • Add or remove clauses
  • Insert dynamic variables (name, date, position, etc.)


Save your changes


Once the changes are complete, click on "Save" to record the updated template.


💡 Good to know


  • Editing a template does not affect contracts that have already been generated.
  • You can create multiple versions of the same template for different types of contracts (permanent, fixed-term, freelance, etc.).
