Shyfter Drive is your centralized space to manage all your employees' documents and files. Inspired by modern cloud storage solutions, it allows you to easily organize, secure, and share all important documents for your team.


This feature is available in both the web application and the mobile application, allowing you to access your files wherever you are.


To facilitate document management, Shyfter Drive offers a complete feature set that allows you to:


  • organize your documents in automatic folders ;
  • secure your sensitive files with enhanced protection ;
  • share documents with your team easily ;
  • keep a history of your recent files for quick access.

πŸ“ Shyfter Drive Folders


Shyfter Drive automatically organizes your files into 5 main folders:


1. πŸ“ Secured


This folder stores all your files secured with SMS two-factor authentication. The perfect place to safely keep your sensitive documents, like payslips and more.


2. πŸ’œ Payslips


Upload your employees' payslips here, securely and with complete peace of mind. Each document is protected and available anytime through the Shyfter mobile app. A simple and reliable way to share essential information with your team.


3. πŸ“˜ Contracts


Upload all employee contracts here: permanent contracts, fixed-term contracts, amendments, legal documents… Everything is securely stored and accessible anytime for you and your team. A simple and centralized way to manage all your contractual documents with peace of mind.


4. πŸ“— Documents


Store all important employee-related documents here. Certificates, statements, proof documents or internal files β€” everything is kept secure and easy to access. A convenient space to centralize and organize all your HR information.


5. πŸ“‚ Others


Upload all your other files and documents here. A convenient space to organize and store all files that don't fit into specific categories. Everything is securely stored and accessible anytime for you and your team.




πŸ“€ Upload Files


From any folder, you can upload files by clicking the "Upload" button.


This upload allows you to:


  • select one or more files from your computer ;
  • automatically organize files by their type ;
  • automatically secure payslips upon upload ;
  • see files immediately in the list.


Files are automatically organized into the correct folder based on their category.




πŸ”’ Secure Files


Securing allows you to protect your sensitive files. A secured file is marked with a padlock and is automatically placed in the "Secured" folder.


To secure or unsecure a file:


πŸ‘‰ Actions menu (three dots) β†’ "Secure" or "Unsecure"


Important note: Payslips are automatically secured and cannot be unsecured for confidentiality reasons.


Visual indicators:

  • Red padlock : Secured file in the "Secured" or "Payslips" folder
  • Light gray padlock : Secured file in the "Others" folder




πŸ”— Share Files


Sharing allows you to make a file accessible to other users in the system. A shared file is marked with a share icon.


To share a file:


πŸ‘‰ Actions menu (three dots) β†’ "Share" or "Unshare"


Important note: Payslips cannot be shared for confidentiality reasons.




πŸ“₯ File Management


All management actions are available via the actions menu (three dots) next to each file:


  • Download : Downloads the file to your computer
  • Rename : Changes the file name for better organization
  • Delete : Permanently deletes the file (with confirmation)




πŸ• Recent Files


At the bottom of the main Shyfter Drive page, you'll find a "Recent Files" section that displays files you've recently viewed or modified.


This feature allows you to:


  • quickly access files you use often ;
  • navigate directly to the file or its folder ;
  • easily find a recently viewed document.
