How to set up absence counters?

How to set up these counters?

You can choose to display counters in days or hours.

To manage this, go to your account settings ⚙️ → HR → Settings → Display counters in...

⚠️ When you make this change (hours to days, for example), Shyfter will automatically adjust the counters for all your employees. This change does not happen in real-time; it will take a few minutes. Please note that the data entered in these counters will need to be updated manually.

When you make a change in data or shift, the update takes some time. If you wish to force update the counters for a user, click on the blue button "update counters".

What impact do planned absences have on these counters?

Every night, all counters for all users are updated.

Scheduling absences when counters are set in hours:

You schedule an absence for a certain number of hours and these hours are deducted from the counters.

Scheduling absences when counters are set in days:

If there is only one shift (absence) scheduled in a day, Shyfter will count a full day's absence.

If there is more than one shift (absence) scheduled in a day, Shyfter will count a half-day absence.
